Retake Picture Day is 11/16/2023! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not preordered, please use the Retake Order Code 80619GF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order. To see your Order History, check your Inter-State Account.
Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 14th from 4-6 PM. Please call the school at 304-758-2152 to set up your 10-minute conference with your child's teacher. You may come in person or if you prefer, you may choose a phone conference. If you choose a phone conference the teacher will call you at your designated time. It's imperative that we stay on schedule in order to make sure we get all of our conferences in. We look forward to talking to you about your child's progress!

Mrs. Gum's 2nd grade class did a science experiment and made a "puking pumpkin."
Our 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Doig, applied for and was given permission to receive a Traveling Trunk from the American Battlefield Trust. The students got to view/try on the items from the Civil War era then Mrs. Doig had to send it to its next destination. I hope they enjoy it as much as our 5th graders did. Here are some pictures of them looking at Civil War replica items.
