WVBE Policy 3234 permits WV school districts to submit a plan to use up to five Non-Traditional Instruction Days when students are not receiving instruction within the school facility. We are requesting parent/guardian input in continuing the use of "Snow Packets" in Tyler County instead of adding additional instructional days to the end of the school year.

**Book Fair Update**
Tonight only, parents can come to the book fair during the art show from 3:30-5:20pm. Also, the book fair has been extended to Wednesday, April 10th. There is choir concert that starts at 5:30pm. Hope to see lots of people come check out our talented Boreman students and the book fair!

To continue to celebrate Dr. Seuss, our second graders made some oobleck today. Looks pretty slimy to me.

Boreman's 2nd graders had a couple of special guests today. Local author Brian Croasmun and his tortoise friend Little Kevin. Brian read the book he wrote "Little Kevin Wants a Birthday", and he will return to sign books for the students to keep.

SMILE! Spring picture day is Thursday, March 21st. Pictures will only be taken for those that purchase them. You can order online or send money (exact change is preferred when paying with cash) and form to the school to be given to the photographer.

Over the weekend AIB was represented at the West Virginia Art Education Association’s Youth Art Month Show at the Parkersburg Art Center. Ella Strode, Elisia Haught, and Tinsley Stevens all had work on display. Ella received 2nd place in the 3-D category for her sculpture entitled "Dancing Penguin." Tinsley received 2nd place in the drawing category for her oil pastel entitled "Pumpkin Patch", and Elisia earned 3rd placed in the painting category for her marker print entitled "Backsplash." Their work will travel to Charleston, WV, to take part in the annual Arts Alive showcase on April 26. Congratulations, Bobcats!!!
